A lone, ominous tower of dark, fused glass stands defiantly against the war-torn skyline near Calliope. A brilliant, sun-like crystal at its peak pulses with malevolent arcane energy before unleashing devastating beams of light upon the battlefield.
Player-Facing Lore & Discoveries
- The Sunstone Tower, currently held by Yvon the Forsaken's forces, is the primary reason the main allied army cannot advance on Calliope. Its long-range arcane bombardments make a direct assault suicidal.
- The Death Beam Incident: During the North Point Keep engagement, the tower fired its necrotic death beam into the battlefield, targeting party members as they pursued the dracolich. The beam was powerful enough to threaten even the most seasoned heroes, nearly killing several members of the Renegade Syndicate before they were shielded by a gold dragon.
