The plane of Law is filled with an infinite number of country-sized circular interlocking gears which are habitable on one or both sides.
- All of the teleportation circles and portals are tuned to a frequency of magic that is kept guarded in Mechanus . During the convergence, the leylines of magic on the material plane are overcharged with energy from the astral plane. In order to stabilize this, more of the divine magic from Mechanus creates an opposite flow to reduce the pressure in the ley lines. This creates a backdoor into Mechanus for those with enough skill in manipulating forces of conjuration.
