A somber, organic chamber located at the heart of the ground floor of the Sanctuary of the Wolves. It serves as both an elevator to the upper levels and a place of ritual sacrifice.
Player-Facing Lore & Discoveries
- The chamber contains three ancient stone altars: an Oak Tree, a Wolf, and a Dragon.
- A desiccated dryad is magically bound to the wall by pulsing black vines, appearing to be in deep distress.
- To bypass the magical quarantine and ascend the tree, a sacrifice of life force is required at the Tree Altar.
- This ritual mirrors the legendary "Original Sin" of the Order of the Wolves, where a Sister was sacrificed to save the Order.
- The Toll Met: Benson sacrificed blood at the Oak Altar, taking necrotic damage to satisfy the quarantine sequence and open the path upward.
