Backstory

Credence and his brother, Benson Wolfehard, were raised in the Order of the Wolves after their parents were killed by the Cult of the Dragon. He has a long history with the Cult, and his desire for revenge led him to make a pact with Lassus Latvius. This pact has granted him dark powers, but at a great cost to his soul. Recently killed in battle and then resurrected, he is now at a crossroads, trying to balance his quest for vengeance with the pleas of his friends and the memory of his past. He is deeply connected to Henri Shaw, a childhood friend from the Order, and is influenced by the memory of its leader, Victor Koya.
