Saint Markovia was a cleric of the Morninglord who ran an abbey and hospital in Krezk when Strahd von Zarovich first invaded Barovia. Immediately she took a stand against Strahd as a leader, and after his transformation into a vampire, she and her most loyal followers stormed Castle Ravenloft, only to be slain by Strahd.
The abbey was renamed to the Abbey of Saint Markovia in her honor, and the pool and shrine at the foot of the abbey was blessed by her. She wore this sash a reminder of how close to perfection she could be.
While attuned to this item, all of your abilities scores are set to 19, and you have disadvantage on death saving throws.
