The now flooded outpost of Mantol-Derith used to be a trading post where drow, duergar, svirfneblin, and illithid. It was destroyed in the flash flood of 1721, and is a now a mostly flooded cavern with husks of abandoned dwellings and warehouses haunted by the souls of the deceased.
- Gorman Stone now runs a general trading post from a salvage skiff.
- Mother Maven Despana ran the drow trading outpost, and is Riful’s blood sister
- She was also a high ranking drow priestess who aspired to become the Matron Mother of House Despana. Ulimately, she was neither her mother’s favorite, not Lolths. Her anger and resentment bubbled over and she has bound those who would serve her in life into servants of the life beyond.
