Hall of Absolution

The main foyer features a globe embedded into a large golden sun with ten points. This leads to the living quarters as well as the market. No magic is permitted in this area.

The Hall of Erudition

Up the stairs is the Hall of Erudition. The stairs lead up in both directions to a giant senate like hall with some stadium seating on the outside and a round central table that can seat about 25. The head of the table is marked by a more ornate chair, with intricately carved features and a tall back.

The Hall of Valor

Above this is the Hall of Valor, which serves as the barracks and living quarters for the staff of the temple.

Halls of Miracles

Above these are the Halls of Miracles, which are ritual chambers, where magic is allowed. Leading into these halls are the screening hallways, where Zone of Truth is used to interrogate non-templars prior to being admitted.

Halls of Covenant

And finally, above this are the Halls of Covenant, vaults where holy objects are contained. The vaults are in the highest floors, but the archives and central library can be found just below.

Temple to Viche

The temple of Viche is like a dedication to under the sea. The windows are staining to make it look like a vast ocean and color reefs beyond. The main temple area is filled with seashells and water flows that come together and crash upon sand in waves.

The Proving Ground

An obstacle course battle ground where the party's at a free-for-all. It is a race to acquire three offerings, place them in the center, and light the bonfire in the center.

Non-lethal damage is allowed in melee, and clerics stand at attention to heal fallen party members.

There are a variety of hazards set to inhibit progress.

  • Medicine check to get the offering of Selflessness - DC 13.
  • History to get the Offering of Sagacity - DC 13
  • Athletics or Acrobatics check to make the leaps across the totem poles, DC 13 to get the offering of Skill - DC 13.
  • Sleight of hand check get the offering of Speed - DC 13.

The Archives

The archives it light only with magical-non-flame torches and natural light, and is filled with owl sculptures. There are several barn-owl spirits that tend to the books, including Mira’s familiar Lianne.
