A holy order of Aasimar and winged knights dedicated to the protection of La Cathedrale and the recovery of dangerous artifacts.

Player-Facing Lore

Identity: The "High Templars" are known for their celestial heritage; many members are Aasimar who wear their wings openly. They possess enchantments (rings) allowing flight.
Mission: Founded to launch a holy crusade to recover dangerous artifacts (like the Memoria Septim) and safeguard them in the cathedral vaults.
Leadership:
- - Historically led by Knight-Commander Azrael Valis, a hero of the crusade.
  - The Great Betrayal: Valis was revealed to be conspiring with the Guild Halls to seize the God-Arms.
  - New Command: Following Valis's flight, Grace Veromar was appointed the new Knight-Commander.
Current Status: Besieged at Fort Champlain during the War of Ascension, fighting a desperate defense against Yvon's vampire army.
