The Crucible is an underground facility, once a brutal training ground for the Dusk Watchers, where individuals like Blitz Spren were subjected to relentless conditioning and forced combat. Though destroyed by Blitz, its remains were later integrated into the undersea Omega Facility as a restored, albeit repurposed, section.

Player-Facing Lore & Discoveries

The Crucible was an underground training facility for the Dusk Watchers.
Blitz Spren (then Edward Stone) was tortured and forced to fight for his life within the Crucible.
During his time there, Crucible fighters were forcibly augmented with terrifying experimental devices.
Blitz eventually escaped and destroyed the facility.
Blitz previously fought Lucy Gloom in the Crucible, where he gained the upper hand and killed her under Kylar's orders.
The remains of the Crucible were restored and integrated into the undersea Omega Facility.
