A society of powerful and notorious wizards known for their mastery of necromancy, their creation of dracoliches, and their ruthless pursuit of magical power.

Player-Facing Lore & Recent Events

Goals: The Red Wizards are obsessed with necromancy and the secrets of undeath. They have connections to the Cult of the Dragon, particularly their older desire to create dracoliches.
Domination of the Drannoth: They have a history of subjugating the Drannoth, torturing survivors to extract their arcane secrets, especially the location of their hidden city of Zion.
Local Operations: In the Twilands, they are coordinated by Azbara Jos, who is working on an alliance with the yuan-ti to exchange drannoth slaves for powerful rituals.
