* But the flame itself was alive, and to protect itself 10 spirit fragments detached themselves from the flame of origination, and refined the purple light within themselves. This refined light was white, and the rejected light a dark - almost black & deep red spastic flame. The spirits used their powers to create the outer realms in a ring around the world. Then, they split the world's light 3 ways. To one side they opened the source - a path to other universes which they shaped into the white light within themselves, which drove back the [[Forgotten Ones]]. The other side was the "sink", a black hole that captured the light, passing it back to other universes.
